As the bedbug case counts are almost doubling, we have decided to dedicate a page to these resilient bloodsuckers. Lets start with some basic facts about bedbugs.
- Bedbugs feed on the blood of humans or other warmblooded creatures.
- Bedbugs home in on warmth and carbon dioxyde.
- Bedbugs can live more than a year withought feeding.
- Bedbugs emerge from hiding at night, and are most active at dawn.
- As a general rule of thumb, bedbugs can hide anyplace where you can fit a credit card.
- Bedbugs and their eggs are visible to the naked eye.
- Bedbug females can lay up to 5 eggs a day which hatch within 10 days.
- BEDBUGS ARE NOT A SIGN OF FILTH AND IMPROPER HOUSEKEEPING
